ARTIST PROFILE |The Greenback Dollars

The Greenback Dollars are Andy Larson, Jon Myers, and Jeff Sutherland. We fancy ourselves an outlaw (albeit gainfully employed, happily married and law abiding) band that loves to play honkytonk, country blues, and folk. Our style is straightforward and we pride ourselves in music that is relatable and honest. We like to write songs about love and love lost, fictitious vagabonds, friends (both human and canine) passed on, and our own lives’ paths told in storytelling fashion. 

Jeff and Andy formed a band at Purdue a fair while back and reunited 25 years later. We found out that Jon was a bassist from a YouTube video and invited him to join us. We’ve been playing together as a three piece since 2021.
